Soothing is the spring workshop of the Seasonal Workshop Series organized by the
Sustainable Materials Research Center (SusMat-RC). The theme of this one-day international workshop
is focused on the sustainable conversion of biomass towards chemicals and materials, covering the latest
advances in pioneering technologies applied to biomass conversion for fine chemicals, bioproducts, and biomaterials.
This workshop offers an opportunity to connect with authoritative experts and leaders through insightful presentations
and discussions, providing a comprehensive understanding of the driving needs, challenges, and opportunities in sustainable
biomass upgrading and conversion.
We invite master’s and Ph.D. students, postdoctoral fellows, scientists, researchers, and professionals in
Chemistry, Materials Science, and Engineering to participate in this engaging “Spring Workshop.” The Workshop will span
one day and will be held in a hybrid mode (Remote or In-Person). To enhance networking and foster scientific communities,
a limited number of selected abstracts from students will be presented in the form of e-posters. All Ph.D. students are
encouraged to submit their abstracts by the 10th of May.
Attendance and participation in the workshop are free of charge; however, to reserve your spot, please
